Olympic champion Katie Ledecky takes a victory lap

The U.S. swimmer won two gold and two silver medals in Tokyo

making her the swimming world's most decorated woman

NAME: KATIE LEDECKY, U.S. OLYMPIC SWIMMER

"I was very happy. I'm still very happy and just trying to let it all sink in and I don't know if even the 2012 Olympics that I competed in, if that has even sunk in fully yet."

The swimming champion is known for her rivalry with Australia's Ariarne Titmus

Their contest is dubbed the 'duel in the pool'

The Australian won the 400m and 200m freestyle

But Ledecky came out top in the 800m freestyle race

"I think it brings out the best in each of us, each of my competitors, myself. There's so many great competitors from around the world. And it was great to finally have the opportunity to race each other"

Ledecky has her sights now set on the 2024 Olympics in Paris
