U.S. Postal Service to hold job fair April 13 in Scranton

Mar. 31—The U.S. Postal Service will hold a job fair in Scranton.

The job fair will be April 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the U.S. Post Office at 2800 Stafford Ave., Scranton, the postal service said.

To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be onsite to provide detailed information about current positions available. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

"Applicants who may have a question or two while trying to apply online really appreciate having someone to assist them face-to-face," USPS spokesman Mark Lawrence said in a statement. "We're bringing our HR folks out to the field."

It is one of 60 job fairs the USPS plans in Pennsylvania during April.
