U.S. and U.K. hail G7 minimum corporate tax deal

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak have celebrated an agreement among G7 countries to maintain a minimum corporate tax rate of 15%. The deal is designed to eliminate tax avoidance by global corporations, and it’s hoped G20 nations will also join the pact.
