UC, Miami University to battle for the Victory Bell. Here's how to watch, stream the game

The University of Cincinnati Bearcats and Miami University RedHawks will continue the longest non-conference football rivalry in the U.S. with their latest battle for the Miami–Cincinnati Victory Bell at noon Saturday at Paycor Stadium.

The series has been competitive through the years and is currently tied at 59-59-7.

The first game in the series was the first college football game played in Ohio on Dec. 8, 1888, in Oxford. That game ended in a 0-0 tie.

Last week, the Bearcats defeated Kennesaw State 63-10. Ben Bryant led UC with 201 passing yards and three touchdowns.

What is the history of the Miami–Cincinnati Victory Bell?

The original bell was at Miami's Harrison Hall and was rung when Miami won. After Cincinnati fans reportedly took the bell in the 1890s, the bell went to the winner of the rivalry game before disappearing in the 1930s and reappearing in 1946 and is currently displayed at Miami's Murstein Alumni Center.

The current trophy is a replica of the original one.
