It writes: "Adam Sanogo is one of the few players in the NCAA who can go bucket for bucket with Drew Timme. Add on to that a considerably stronger defense and UConn has the clear edge in this one. Even if Gonzaga is more consistent, no team is playing better right now than UConn is. We’ll see if UConn’s characteristic streakiness shows up on Saturday, but for now I’m betting they avoid it for at least another game."

Chris Ruffolo writes: "This should be an awesome matchup, but I’m sticking with UConn here. I just feel the Huskies have the edge here as they have more size to hit the Zags with, especially to combat Drew Timme inside. Gonzaga nearly blew it against UCLA as well and took some clutch heroics to pull it out, but I don’t think the Zags are as lucky this time around. Give me UConn here."

Pete Fiutak writes: "Gonzaga was held to under 67 points just three times, and all were early in the season - against Purdue, Michigan State, and Baylor - before the offense jelled. UConn isn't going to stop Gonzaga from scoring. The points are going to be there, and the offense just has to be keep up or get dropped. However, it'll be more about field goal percentage. As long as the Huskies aren't allowing a ton of easy points and can get on the offensive glass in the second half, they should be okay. Gonzaga is 23-0 when hitting 50% or better from the field 8-5 when it doesn't. UConn teams to hit the 50% mark just four times, and Xavier did it twice. The last five minutes of this might be the best of the tournament - and that includes the end of Gonzaga's thriller against the Bruins. This is where the mediocre free throw shooting will catch up to the Bulldogs."
