UConn women’s basketball legend and two-time WNBA champion Breanna Stewart will miss the Seattle Storm’s last two regular-season games after injuring her left foot in the Storm’s game Tuesday, the team announced Friday.

The Storm said that Stewart, a two-time Finals MVP, will be re-evaluated prior to the playoffs, which start Sept. 23. She suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Storm’s 105-71 win over the Washington Mystics and did not return.

Seattle is currently third in the WNBA standings with games against the 10-19 L.A. Sparks (Sept. 12) and 19-10 Phoenix Mercury (Sept. 17) remaining.

Stewart, the 2018 MVP, is also in the discussion for the award this year. She’s third in the league in scoring with 20.3 points per game and fourth in rebounding with 9.5, both team highs. She previously missed time due to rest after returning from the Olympics where she helped Team USA win a seventh straight gold medal.
