UConn women’s basketball announces full 2022-23 season schedule, including Big East dates, locations and TV info

The 2022-23 season schedule for UConn women’s basketball is complete.

The Huskies released their full schedule along with the Big East announcing the entire 20-game women’s basketball slate on Monday, including dates, times and TV information.

UConn will play nine games at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs this season, including the Big East opener on Dec. 2 against Providence. That game will tip off at 7 p.m. ET on SNY. The Huskies will host six regular season games at the XL Center in Hartford, as well as an exhibition against Kutztown on Nov. 6 at 1 p.m.

UConn will also host Northeastern, Texas, Princeton, Marquette, DePaul, Butler, Creighton and Xavier at Gampel Pavilion. They will face NC State, Seton Hall, Georgetown, Villanova, South Carolina and St. John’s at the XL Center.

Eighteen of UConn’s regular season games, including 16 Big East contests, will air on SNY, the official television home of the program. That starts with the season opener against Northeastern on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.

Four of the Huskies’ games will air on major broadcast networks, with South Carolina (Feb. 5), Villanova (away on Feb. 18) and DePaul (away on Feb. 25) airing on Fox and the Jimmy V Women’s Classic at Notre Dame on Dec. 4 being broadcast on ABC. Two other games will air on FS1, against Texas on Nov. 14 and NC State on Nov. 20.

Additionally, at least two regular season tournament games will air on ESPN networks and two other games will be on CBS Sports Network.

The 2023 Big East Tournament will take place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville from March 3-6.

UConn won both the Big East regular season and conference titles in 2021-22 en route to a national championship game appearance.
