UConn women land guard Kelis Fisher for Class of 2025
Geno Auriemma and the UConn women’s basketball program got its first commitment for the Class of 2025 on Friday.
Kelis Fisher, a 5-foot-9 guard who is ranked as the No. 22 recruit in her class per ESPN’s rankings, announced her pledge to the Huskies on Instagram.
“I would like to thank my family, friends and coaches,” Fisher said. “I’m taking my talents to UConn.”
Fisher is from Baltimore and plays for acclaimed basketball prep program IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. She also plays AAU basketball for Team Thrill.
