UFP Industries Foundation gives to Crossroads

Nov. 30—MOULTRIE — The UFP Industries Foundation, the charitable arm of Universal Forest Products, recently presented a $2,000 check to Crossroads Gospel Rescue Mission.

The foundation seeks to support groups that are helping to address homelessness by working on its root causes, including substance abuse, domestic violence and mental health issues.

The mission houses men facing hardships — primarily but not exclusively those recently released from jail or prison — pairs them with a mentor from the faith community and helps them to rebuild their lives.
