Ugg ripped for ultra-high ‘candy corn’ boots: ‘I almost burst out laughing’

They’re Ugg-ly.

The newest tall Ugg boots are being ripped apart online as videos of the colorful shoes have gone viral.

The Women’s Classic Ultra Ultra Tall boots stand 26 inches high with stackable zippered panels that can be taken off or layered onto a “Classic Mini II Boot.”

The shoes are offered in two color patterns: all black or Chestnut Multi — a color gradient of orange, yellow and white atop a chestnut brown boot that many online have compared to “candy corn,” “beer foam” and a “urine chart.”

The boots were originally being sold for $600 but are currently on sale for $419.99 as more people make fun of the funky footwear online.

On the official Ugg website, the shoes have earned 3.9 stars — from eight reviews — with 71% saying they would recommend to a friend, but many on social media were not sold.

A TikToker named Erin, who goes by @sneakybrownnoser online, earned 8.5 million views when she posted a TikTok video questioning the design.

“I was served this sponsored ad, probably because they’re desperate to sell them, and I cannot wrap my head around this Ugg boot,” Erin said in her video.

The fashion girlies and critics of TikTok quickly flooded her comments with their disapproval of the Women’s Classic Ultra Ultra Tall boots.

“I worked at Ugg and they modeled these for us in a meeting and I almost burst out laughing,” one person wrote.

“They’re like pretty much boot pants,” another judged.

“I can’t imagine wearing this boot even if Ugg paid me $419,” a TikToker commented.

“Why’s fashion always not fashioning?” someone asked.

Some people did think that the statuesque boots were “cute” when styled by TikToker @dealtrapqueen.

However, most people were not impressed.

Influencer Madeline White tried to make the footwear fashionable as she tried on several outfits with the shoes but eventually gave up and unzipped the layers down to the classic Chestnut boot.

“Shocked and appalled,” the fashionista finally said before ending her video.
