Is This the Ugliest BMW of All Time?
With the new BMW M3 and M4 official, we can finally talk about their... controversial design. The Road & Track staff has been largely unified in our feelings towards the cars' double-coffin-shaped noses, to the point where some staffers are calling it the ugliest BMW of all time. Do you agree?
Personally, I wouldn't go that far. No, the M3 and M4 aren't the prettiest BMWs out there. They're probably in the bottom five for me, to be honest. But the one thing they're not is boring. The design is so different, so out of left field, that it's made waves in the industry, and got everyone talking about it. Whether it's positive or negative buzz, it's buzz all the same. If BMW's objective was to get as many eyes as possible on the new M3 and M4, it sure worked. And while you or I might like not it, someone who wants to stand out amongst the monotonous, uninspiring grilles that pepper traffic every day might be really into this sort of thing.
