UHSPs Grace Beyer becomes NAIA scoring champion

ST. LOUIS — University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Women’s Basketball star Grace Beyer needed 14 points to earn the all-time NAIA scoring record.

She ended up with 32 points.

Grace surpassed Miriam Walker-Samuels record of 3,855 points during the first half of Saturday’s 80-56 “Senior Day” win for the Eutectics. The record had stood for 34 years.

With her 32 points, Grace now has 3,874 points for her career.

The game also had a team record. UHSP eclipsed the mark for most three pointers made in a single game with 20 triples.
