LUBBOCK — The Lake View girls’ soccer team season came to an end after losing to Canyon Randall 3-2 in a Class 4A area-round match at Lubbock Christian University on Tuesday.

The Maidens took an early lead thanks to a Jazmyne Flores score off an assist from Ally Flores, but Randall tied the score at 1-1 going into halftime. Lake View came out aggressive in the second half and took a 2-1 lead with a goal from Jaylen Cuellar. The Maiden’s could not keep the lead, however, as Randall scored two more times in the second half to take the victory.

The Maidens' loss ended an eight-game winning streak as they finished the season with a 17-4-3 record and a bi-district championship.
