University of Kentucky coach John Calipari and Chumlee Russell from "Pawn Stars" stopped by Kentucky Roadshow Cards recently for an episode of "Pawn Stars Do America" which has been taping episodes in Kentucky this month.

Jimmy Mahan, owner of Kentucky Roadshow Cards, announced in a Sunday afternoon tweet that he had a "pretty awesome morning at the shop" when Calipari and film crews from the show stopped over at 369 Romany Road in Lexington to talk all things Kentucky and sports.

"Pawn Stars Do America" is an iteration of the long-running History Channel TV show about a family-run pawn shop in Las Vegas. Crews filmed two tapings in Louisville and Taylorsville earlier in June, and local folks could have been tapped to be extras on the show or even participate in a transaction if their items were "cool" and "unique" enough, according to earlier reporting.

Mahan had some quality time with Russell, one of the show's main characters, when the two opened some FIFA cards from Panini America, another creator of sports cards.

Coach Cal even tweeted that he "had a great time" hanging out with Mahan and the "Pawn Stars" cast and shared a couple of snaps with Chumlee and Mahan. "#Staytuned," he wrote.
