UK jazz band Acoustic Alchemy returns to Ponte Vedra Concert Hall
English jazz band Acoustic Alchemy will return to the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Oct. 9, 2022, after having to cancel its scheduled Oct. 10, 2021, show due to a medical issue.
Tickets for the seated show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre box office and ticketmaster.com. Prices range from $38.50 to $43.50. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays. The box office accepts credit and debit card payments only. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall Box Office remains closed.

The band performed at the Concert Hall in 2019 and appeared in 2014 and 2011.
The contemporary UK jazz band, which was formed in 1981 by Simon James and Nick Webb in London, released its most recent album "33 1/2" in 2018. The group has released more than 20 albums over the years.
“We’ve had a lot of labels over the years; at the start there were all these names flying around like New Adult Contemporary, New Age music, and then it became Smooth Jazz, but we’ve never really thought about ourselves as being in any one particular genre. We just make music we like,” Greg Carmichael said in the release. “At the core it’s always been about one simple concept: the sound of the nylon and steel guitars working together, but that leaves a lot of scope for exploring all sorts of musical ideas.”
