UK lawmakers will debate ways to break Brexit impasse from Monday - PM's spokesman

LONDON, March 19 (Reuters) - British lawmakers will from Monday be able to debate ways to break an impasse over Brexit in parliament, Prime Minister Theresa May's spokesman said on Tuesday, repeating a promise made last week.

On Thursday, cabinet office minister David Lidington said if parliament had not approved May's deal to leave the European Union by March 20, the government would give lawmakers the opportunity to debate and vote on the way forward.
