UK PM attacks anti-vax 'mumbo jumbo'

Johnson emphasized that Britain's COVID vaccines would remain voluntary and he would rely on trying to persuade people to have their jabs rather than introducing mandatory vaccinations.

A number of European countries have made vaccination mandatory for some age groups or professions.

Johnson said he wanted to persuade those people hesitating about the vaccines to get them, but the task was made harder by people spreading misinformation.

"The anti-vax campaigners, the people putting this mumbo jumbo on social media, they are completely wrong," Johnson said.
