(SOUNDBITE) (English) ANDY HIGGS, CO-FOUNDER, AVRT, SAYING:
"Our system really is about empowering officers to be able to train a lot more, to train more effectively and for the police forces to be able to assess that training so that we can send officers out better equipped to deal with the public. And that has to lead to better outcomes.//We know that it's moved on from that gimmicky idea of putting people into computer games. It's got very serious applications in training. And there have been studies already that have proved that it's that much more efficient at developing soft and hard skills into personnel. We're really interested to see how it can work for police officers."
