UK Residents Take Part in 2.6 Challenge to Mark London Marathon Date

People across the UK took part in the 2.6 Challenge on April 26, which aimed to raise money for charity during the lockdown on the day the London Marathon was originally scheduled to take place.

People were encouraged to choose a challenge related to the numbers 2.6 or 26, the number of miles in a marathon, and the date the event would have taken place.

Participants were encouraged to follow UK government guidelines on social distancing while they took part.
