UK transport min says working on freight movement

France joined Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Israel and Canada in shutting off travel ties after Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned on Saturday (December 19) that a highly infectious new strain of the virus was a danger to the country.

He said in the short term he does not expect disruptions to supplies and that in any case, COVID-19 vaccines will continue to be delivered with no disruption.
