Ukraine’s 2016 Eurovision winner Jamala on U.S. tour to raise funds for Ukrainian military

Her last three-hour show in New York featured a charity auction in support of Ukrainian defenders. A soccer ball signed by Ukrainian soccer legend Andriy Shevchenko and other items were auctioned off.

"NY, I want to say: sağ oluñız, thank you. Thank you! Almost a 3-hour-long performance. And so many friends have come to support me. I love you. I thank Andriy Shevchenko for a valuable item for the auction. The proceeds from each lot will be directed to the needs of our defenders. We have a lot of interesting things ahead," Jamala shared the experience with her followers.

She appeared at the stage in an outfit designed by Ivan Frolov, which was created for her performance at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool.

The Eurovision 2016 winner posted photos with Ukrainian-born American actress Ivanna Sakhno, and hosts Stasia Rovinska (who moved to the U.S. with her family in 2022) and Dasha Kolomiets.
