At about 8 p.m. on May 25, from the territory of the Russian Federation, Tu-22M long-range bombers carried out missile strikes against Ukrainian positions in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions. Another strike was launched against Ukraine’s southern front.

“The aircraft of the Air Force once again strikes at the positions of the occupying forces,” Air Force Command reported.

“This time – a company tactical group was defeated! Manpower and about ten units of light armored vehicles were destroyed. In addition, the air defense of the Ground Forces and the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force shoot down five Orlan-10 UAVs.”

Air Force Command also noted that while Russian aviation is growing around Ukraine’s borders, its aircraft is avoiding entering airspace covered by Ukraine’s air defense.
