Blumenthal said he supports providing Ukraine with longer-range ammunition for HIMARS rocket artillery, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and anti-air defense systems – on the condition that Kyiv won’t use these weapons to strike at Russian sovereign territory.
Graham stressed the urgency for further weapon shipments to Ukraine, as the fighting in Donbas is dragging on.

“We have a chance here in the next 60 days..., the decisions we make can turn the tide of this war in favor of Ukraine,” Graham said.
In recent weeks, numerous media reports suggested that Ukrainian armed forces are using U.S.-supplied HIMARS to deliver precise strikes at Russian ammo depots and command-and-control infrastructure.

According to an assessment by the U.S. Department of Defense, Ukraine’s use of HIMARS is effective.
Ukraine managed to destroy 20 Russian ammo depots with HIMARS attacks in two weeks, a military analyst at Defense Express, Ivan Kyrychevsky said.
