Ukraine has taken out a Russian Buk missile system, a 9S18 Kupol radar station, and a 9K37 anti-aircraft system in a kamikaze drone attack in Luhansk Oblast, as can be seen in a video shared on Sept. 2 by the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry.

Russian-backed Ukrainian separatists used a Buk missile system to shoot down the MH17 passenger jet in the area in July 2014.

The 9S18 Kupol is a detection and target designation radar, while the 9K37 is an anti-aircraft missile launch station.

The equipment was destroyed near the town of Svatove in eastern Luhansk Oblast in a joint operation between military intelligence and the Omega National Guard.
