The Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted a successful strike on a key Russian air-defense facility in occupied Crimea on Oct. 30, the Strategic Communications Office confirmed on Telegram this morning.

Five days earlier, on Oct. 25, they also eliminated an S-400 anti-aircraft missile system near the occupied city of Luhansk.

Previously, Russian Telegram channels had reported strikes in Olenivka, targeting the missile and anti-aircraft regiment of the Russian Ministry of Defense, claiming that 17 soldiers were injured in the attack.

The Ukrainian military also confirmed the destruction of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system.

On Oct. 25, Russian propagandists began sharing photos of fragments from American ATACMS missile booster blocks in the temporarily occupied territory of Bilorichensky village in Luhansk Oblast.

They claimed to have “shot down the first two,” but the Ukrainian Air Force emphasized that there was insufficient evidence.

For the first time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces utilized ATACMS ballistic missiles provided by the United States, achieving successful strikes on airfields in Luhansk and Berdyansk, resulting in the destruction of, among other assets, nine helicopters. Kyiv has not issued an official statement regarding these missile launches.
