Ukraine eliminates 9 of 15 drones, two Kh-59 missiles in Russia’s latest nighttime attack of Ukraine

The Ukrainian military shot down nine out of fifteen of Russia’s Shahed drones overnight on Dec. 11-12, the Ukrainian Air Forces reported on Telegram.

Russian occupiers launched the attack from occupied Crimea, this time from the area of Balaklava. A total of 15 UAV launches were recorded, with nine of them being destroyed by units of mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces in various regions of Ukraine.

Two Kh-59 guided air missiles were destroyed by anti-aircraft missile units of the Eastern Air Command in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions on evening of Dec. 11.

The Russian aggressors launched several groups of Shahed drones against Ukraine on the evening of Dec. 11. Reports mentioned drones in the areas of Uman and Khmelnytskyi, as well as in the Odesa Oblast.
