Ukraine’s intelligence refuses to comment on alleged planned attack on Moscow

The reports stemmed from the recent leaks of several dozen classified U.S. intelligence documents. Yusov stressed that the U.S. Department of Justice is still investigating the leaks, adding that some of the documents were forged or altered.

"We can definitely comment that Ukraine is completely independent in making decisions to protect and restore its sovereignty and counter Russian military aggression," Yusov said in the April 26 interview.
“Everything else is hearsay, and we will not comment on it.”

On April 24, The Washington Post wrote that a secret report by the U.S. National Security Agency stated that Ukrainian Military Intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov ordered one of his officers to "prepare massive strikes on Feb. 24."
It was also reported that officials in Washington were secretly monitoring the Ukrainians' plans, while the White House feared that attacks inside Russia could provoke an aggressive response from the Kremlin. On Feb. 22, two days before the anniversary, the CIA made a new classified report: Ukraine’s MI "had agreed, at Washington's request, to postpone strikes" on Moscow.

On April 17, Budanov stated that Ukrainian drones are capable of reaching "Moscow and beyond."
