“We record all damage in real time, daily,” he said.

“We are compiling an estimate and in the near future we will issue an invoice to the Russians for our destroyed facilities.”

He stated that the company already has some experience in billing Russia, having previously sued Moscow over illegally seized assets in Crimea.

Ukrenergo previously reported that it has suffered more than UAH 70 billion ($1.9 billion) in damage from Russian air and drone strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
