“Our units have secured success in liberating Novovasylivka, Novohryhorivka, Nova Kamianka, Tryfonivka, and Chervone in Beryslav district,” OC South spokesman Vladyslav Nazarov said in a Facebook video on Oct. 12.

Stabilizing measures to restore social and critical infrastructure are underway in these towns.

Invading Russian forces in Kherson Oblast are concentrating their efforts on holding the captured territories and attempting to halt the Ukrainian counteroffensive.

Another OC South spokesperson, Natalia Humeniuk, reported on Oct. 7 that the area of liberated territories in Kherson Oblast had increased to 500 square kilometers.

Ukrainian forces continue to liberate the occupied territories in the southern axis, she said on Oct. 11.
