Video footage obtained by CNN showed distinct features of drone attacks the Ukrainian military uses on the battlefield against Russian troops. Two commercially available drones, widely used by Ukrainians, were involved in at least eight strikes, with Ukrainian text visible on the drone control interface.

Text in both English and Ukrainian can be seen in a video from the drone controller monitor. Experts also said that the deployed tactic, specifically a diving attack aimed directly at the target, is quite unusual for Sudan.

A high-ranking Sudanese military source stated that they have "no knowledge of a Ukrainian operation in Sudan" and did not believe in Kyiv’s involvement.
