Ukraine’s former world lightweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk (20-1) continues his return from retirement against Brazil’s Isaac Rodrigues (28-4), WBC Ukraine reported on Setp. 20.

The fight between Gvozdyk and Rodriguez will take place on Sept. 30 in Las Vegas on the undercard of the night's main event between Saul Alvarez and Jermell Charlo.

Gvozdyk won bronze for Ukraine at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and is considered part of Ukraine’s “golden generation” of boxers including world and Olympic champions Oleksandr Usyk and Vasily Lomachenko.
