Ukraine’s partners pledge EUR 1.5 billion in aid to Ukraine during Copenhagen Conference

Zelenskyy, speaking during his nightly video address to the nation, explained that Denmark had immediately pledged an assistance package for Ukraine of EUR 110 million following the opening the conference..

“In total, the conference collected 1.5 billion euros in just one day,” said Zelenskyy.

“Some of it will be spent on the production of vital ammunition.”

Zelenskyy added that this is a significant addition to a $4 billion loan guarantee that the United States had previously given to Ukraine.

“I am grateful to everyone who supported Ukraine in Copenhagen today and I believe that meetings like this one will accelerate our common victory,” the President stated.

The 26 nations, which included Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, all promised to continue to support Ukraine’s military defense against Russian aggression.
