Ukraine has received 508 powerful Tesla Powerwall batteries from Poland to help maintain social and critical infrastructure.

Source: This was announced on Telegram by Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine

According to Fedorov, the batteries will provide electricity to schools, hospitals, kindergartens, etc.

"This is an effective solution during Russia's missile terror. The Tesla Powerwalls can be charged from basic power supply and hold the charge for up to 14 hours.

Thanks to [the batteries], doctors will save lives, teachers will conduct lessons, and Ukrainians will remain in touch with the help of the smooth operation of Starlink in specific locations," Fedorov added.

Fedorov also spoke about successful cases of using the Tesla Powerwall batteries.

"A year ago we got the first 50 systems. They’re used in hospitals and outpatient clinics in the liberated territories. Moreover, they allow thousands of people in the frontline cities of Donetsk and Mykolaiv oblasts to call their relatives and learn the news even during power outages caused by Russian shelling," he said.

We continue to attract the best technological solutions that will help Ukraine to pass the autumn-winter period more confidently.
