Ukraine repels over 100 attacks on Bakhmut in last 24 hours as Russia continues assault
The invaders are continuing unsuccessful offensive actions in several areas Donetsk Oblast, including Orihovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Kamianka, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 100 enemy attacks in the following areas.
In the Volyn, Polissya, Siversk, and Sloboda areas in the north and east of the country, the situation has not significantly changed. No hostile offensive groups were detected. Chernihiv Oblast’s Senkivka and Karpovychi were shelled with mortars and artillery; as were Sumy Oblast’s Starikove, Bilopillya, Holyshivske, Pavlivka, Volfyne and Grabovske; and 18 settlements in the Kharkiv region, including Udy, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Krasne, Zelene, Ustynivka, Anyskyne, Shevyakivka, Dvorichna and Zapadne.
In the Kupyansk and Lyman sections of the front, the Russian army unsuccessfully attacked Kharkiv Oblast’s Putnykove, Fygolivka, Dvorichna, Hryanykivka, and Krokhmalne; Luhansk Oblast’s Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka and Dibrova; and Donetsk Oblast’s Terny, Yampil, Rozdolivka and Fedorivka.
In the area of Bakhmut, despite significant losses, the occupiers continue to storm the city. They also carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the vicinities of the settlements of Berkhivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Klishchiivka. Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have carried out more than 30 unsuccessful attacks near Orikhovo-Vasylivka alone. Areas of the settlements of Orihovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Stupochki, Predtechyne, Oleksandro-Shultine, Diliivka, Zalizne and New York were shelled with artillery.
In the Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk directions, Russian troops failed to advanced in the direction of the Donetsk Oblast settlements of Oleksandropil, Kamianka, Pivnichne, Vodyane, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka. More than 20 attacks were recorded near Maryinka alone. More than 25 settlements came under fire, including Donetsk Oblast’s Berdychi, Orlivka, Avdiyivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar and Prechistivka.
The invaders are defending in the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson sections of the front. More than 30 settlements near the contact line were shelled, including Zaporizhzhya Oblast’s Olhivske, Zatyshshia, Charivne, Pavlivka, and Primorske, and Kherson Oblast’s Kachkarivka, Mylove, Zmiivka, Ivanivka, Kherson, and Inzhenerne.
