Ukraine’s SBU finds another Russian torture chamber in liberated Kharkiv Oblast
The torture chamber, which the Russian invaders called a “basement,” was set up in the premises of the so-called “people’s militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic,” which Ukraine has declared a terrorist organization.

The fighters of this organization and the Russian military illegally detained local residents who refused to cooperate with them and who supported the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the SBU said.
According to the SBU, the Russians brutally tortured the prisoners, after which the latter were forcibly taken to Russia.

The investigation is underway within the framework of the previously initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine to establish the entire range of persons who suffered from enemy tortures, as well as all war criminals involved in the abuse of civilians.
