He has also held The Ring’s heavyweight title since 2022.

The influential magazine revealed its top 10 boxers in the world, with Ukraine’s undefeated Olympic champion in first place.

Rounding out the top three are two other undefeated boxers — Japan’s Naoya Inoue and the USA’s Terence Crawford.

Ukraine’s two-time Olympic champion and former unified lightweight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko is ranked seventh.

Surprisingly, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury did not make the list.

A dream heavyweight unification match between Usyk and Fury was set for late April before talks fell through.

Instead, it is likely Usyk will face Britain’s Daniel Dubois in a mandatory defense of his WBA title.
