Quote: "We need to understand that such land military drills last more than one month and are continued repeatedly. And I think that after the extension of the current exercises, they will be extended again and again. Effectively, Belarus and Russia continue to pursue this line to exert pressure.

This is done, among other things, so that the Ukrainian Defence Forces hold enough personnel and equipment in this area and do not transfer them to more strenuous areas of the contact line, where full-scale combat is taking place."

Details: At the same time, according to Demchenko, they have not detected any formations of offensive groups, although the Russians should not be underestimated.

The State Border Guard Service has not recorded any movement of Belarusian or Russian military equipment or personnel across the state border of Ukraine.

The intelligence units are monitoring the territory of the Republic of Belarus in order to have the full picture and understand how critical the situation is at the moment.

Earlier: Belaruski Hajun, an independent Belarusian military monitoring media outlet, reported that joint military drills of Russian and Belarusian forces have once again been extended, at least till 6 February.
