Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, has appointed Hero of Ukraine Denys Chaiuk as the head of the Lviv Oblast Territorial Centre for Staffing and Social Support [a military enlistment office].

Details: Chaiuk had participated in the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation. He took part in the battles for the Luhansk airport and the city of Debaltseve, Donetsk Oblast. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, he had been the deputy commander of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade.
In March 2022, he received a shrapnel wound. In April, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded Chaiuk with the title of Hero of Ukraine "for personal courage and effectiveness in battles with the occupiers, for destruction of enemy equipment and manpower".
