Ukraine's Defence Forces repel Russian attacks near 16 settlements General Staff report

Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Defence Forces have repelled Russian assaults in the vicinity of 16 settlements in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

Quote from the General Staff: "Enemy forces are pressing on in their attempts to destroy our country’s critical infrastructure and are carrying out attacks on civilian facilities and homes.

Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces carried out one missile strike, 32 airstrikes and over 65 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), including several on civilian infrastructure in Donetsk and Kherson oblasts. There are civilian casualties.

There is an ongoing threat of missile strikes and airstrikes across Ukraine.

Enemy forces are continuing to conduct offensive operations on the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka fronts. They are defending their positions on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts.

Ukraine’s Defence Forces units repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Dibrova and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Yampolivka, Verkhnokamianske, Rozdolivka, Sil, Blahodatne, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, Marinka, Pobieda and Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast."

Details: There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts; no Russian offensive groups have been spotted.

On the Sivershchyna front, Russian forces deployed mortars to attack areas in the vicinity of Mykolaivka (Chernihiv Oblast) and Novovasylivka, Seredyna Buda, Muraveinia, Bachivsk, Budivelne, Volkivka, Volfyne and Yunakivka (Sumy Oblast).

On the Slobozhanshchyna front, Russian forces deployed mortars and artillery to fire on areas in and around Huriv Kozachok, Krasne, Starytsia, Okhrimivka, Hlyboke, Kozacha Lopan, Dvorichanske, Varvarivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Neskuchne, Ternova, Strilecha and Kupiansk (Kharkiv Oblast).

The Russians shelled the positions of Ukrainian forces in the vicinity of Ivanivka, Kyslivka and Krokhmalne (Kharkiv Oblast), Novoselivske (Luhansk Oblast) and Berestove (Donetsk Oblast) on the Kupiansk front.

Russian forces fired on Makiivka, Chervonopopivka and Dibrova (Luhansk Oblast) on the Lyman front.

A total of 21 settlements came under Russian fire on the Bakhmut front, including Spirne, Bila Hora, Verkhnokamianske, Rozdolivka, Bakhmut, New-York, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka and Maiorsk (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Avdiivka front, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Nevelske, Vesele, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pervomaiske and Novomykhailivka came under Russian fire.

On the Novopavlivka front, Russian forces shelled Bohoiavlenka, Vuhledar and Zolota Nyva (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Zaporizhzhia front, 19 cities, towns and villages sustained Russian attacks, including Vremivka and Novopil (Donetsk Oblast) and Malynivka, Chervone, Huliaipole, Charivne, Stepove, Orikhiv and Novodanylivka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).

On the Kherson front, Russian forces deployed MLRS, tubed artillery and mortars to fire on areas in and around Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Odradokamianka, Poniativka, Respublikanets, Kozatske, Tiahynka, Komyshany and Kherson.

Ukrainian aircraft carried out four airstrikes on clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment. Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery units struck two Russian command posts, two air defence systems, six clusters of Russian troops, an ammunition storage point and an electronic warfare system.
