Quote: "In Ukraine, a partial mobilisation has been announced, within which it is planned to call up about 300,000 mosquitoes. The project has the working title ‘Mosquitoes against Moscowitoes’."

Details: Reznikov added an English translation of a quote by Nebenzya about mosquitoes to his tweet.

Background:

  • On 28 October, Russia's permanent representative Vasily Nebenzya claimed that Russian occupiers had found drones in Ukraine that can "spread mosquitoes infected with dangerous viruses".

  • "According to the description, this kind of drone transports a container full of mosquitoes carrying infections to the target area and releases them. When they bite, the mosquitoes infect people with pathogens of particularly dangerous diseases," Nebenzya said.
