Ukraines Defence Minister on Polish explosions: This is the reality we warned about

Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that the explosions in Poland caused by falling Russian missiles are "the reality we have been warning about."

  • On the afternoon of 15 November, Russia carried out a massive-scale missile attack on Ukraine. Missiles struck not far from the border with Poland. After this, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki urgently convened a meeting of the Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defence.

  • Earlier, the AP reported that American intelligence confirmed Russian missiles crossed Polish airspace on 15 November, killing two people. But the Pentagon has not corroborated this version.

  • Polish President Andrzej Duda spoke on the phone with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and US President Joe Biden about the explosions near the Polish border with Ukraine, which may have been caused by falling Russian missiles.
