Ukraines National Security and Defence Council: Ukraine does not have to clear liberation of its territories with anyone else

Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, believes that Ukraine does not have to clear the liberation of its own territories with any other countries.

Quote: "We do not have to clear the liberation of our territories [with other countries]. If you are talking about the non-use of weapons we have received from the United States during certain phases [of the war] to attack targets on Russian Federation territory, this is slightly different."

Previously: Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov has similarly emphasised this point. He said that Ukraine has pledged not to use Western weapons to strike targets on Russian territory, but the partners did not impose restrictions on strikes on Russian military facilities in occupied Crimea.
