Ukrainian Armed Forces hit two areas of concentration of occupiers and their equipment General Staff

On day 289 of the full-scale war, the Russians advanced on the Bakhmut front and improved their position on the Lyman and Avdiivka fronts, conducted four missile and nine air strikes; the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit two clusters of Russian military personnel.

Quote from the General Staff: "The enemy continues to focus its efforts on conducting an offensive on the Bakhmut front. The Russians are trying to improve their tactical position on the Lyman and Avdiivka fronts. On the other fronts, the enemy is concentrating its efforts on restraining the actions of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, shelling the positions of our troops and civilian objects. They equip defensive lines and positions."

Details: During the last 24 hours, the Russian occupiers launched four missiles and nine air strikes. Twenty five shelling from multiple-launch rocket systems carried out by Russians have been recorded.

Peaceful settlements of Zaporizhzhia Oblast were hit by missiles: urban-type settlement of Komyshuvakha, the villages of Hryhorivske and Yulivka.

The threat of Russian missile attacks on the energy system and critical infrastructure targets throughout Ukraine remains.

During the current day, Rocket Forces and Artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit two clusters of occupiers’ personnel, weapons and military equipment.

Overall, the situation on various fronts is as follows:

  • On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there have been no significant changes in the situation, and there are no signs of Russian offensive groups forming. In the cities of Mazyr, Homiel and Mahiloŭ, an increase in the number of Russian conscripted servicemen was noted. The measures of checking the credentials of conscripts are ongoing in the military headquarters of Homiel Oblast.

  • On the Sivershchyna front, some Russian units are located in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts. The village of Khodyne, Sumy Oblast, came under mortar fire.

  • On the Slobozhanshchyna front, the invaders deployed mortars and tubed artillery to fire on areas in and around the settlements of Strilecha, Zelene, Ternova, Starytsia, Chuhunivka and Kamianka in Kharkiv Oblast.

  • On the Kupiansk front, the occupiers deployed tanks and artillery of various types to fire on the settlements of Dvorichna, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne, Pershotravneve in Kharkiv Oblast; Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast.

  • On the Lyman front, the settlements of Hrekivka, Nevske and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast; Torske and Hryhorivka in Donetsk Oblast came under Russian fire.

  • On the Bakhmut front, the Russians deployed tanks, mortars, and tubed and rocket artillery to attack about 20 settlements, including Verkhnokamianske, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Andriivka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Dyliivka and Zalizne in Donetsk Oblast.

  • On the Avdiivka front, the occupiers fired on areas in and around the settlements of Avdiivka, Berdychiv, Marinka, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

  • On the Novopavlivka front, artillery and mortar shelling was recorded in the settlements of Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast.

  • On the Zaporizhzhia front, the settlements of Chervone, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Stepove, Chervonodniprovka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Vyshchetarasivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast came under Russian fire.

  • On the Kherson front, the invaders carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Kherson Oblast, which are close to the contact zone. The city of Kherson and its surroundings were again subjected to artillery shelling, civilians were injured.
