Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian assaults on two fronts General Staff report

Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled Russian assaults on the Sloviansk and Bakhmut fronts.

Quote: "In some cases, the occupying troops’ food supply has been interrupted. According to available information, there is also a shortage of platoon commanders in the units of the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District. The shortage was caused by significant losses [among Russian military personnel - ed.] and [their - ed.] refusal to participate in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine."
Details: There are no changes in the composition and dislocation of Russian units on the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna fronts, or in the nature of their activities. On the Sivershchyna front, the Russian forces shelled the areas around Doroshivka and Hrabovske (in Sumy Oblast) using mortars and multiple rocket launchers.
On the Kharkiv front, the Russian army used different artillery weapons with a range of different calibres to fire on the areas of the towns and villages of Derhachi, Cherkaska Lozova, Dementiivka, Ruski Tyshky, Cherkaski Tyshky and Slatyne.
On the Sloviansk front, Russian soldiers fired on the areas around Barvinkove, Dibrivne, Kurulka, Podolivka, Chepil, Krasnopillia and Bohorodychne. The Russians tried to conduct an assault in the direction of Kurulka, but were unsuccessful and retreated.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian occupying forces fired on the areas around Hryhorivka, Siversk, Kramatorsk, Verkhnokamianske, Zakitne, Serebrianka and Spirne using tubed and rocket artillery and conducted airstrikes near Verkhnokamianske and Maiaky. The Russians are mounting an offensive in the direction of Verkhnokamianske, where fighting is continuing.
On the Bakhmut front, the Russian forces fired on the areas around Novoluhanske, New-York, Pokrovske, Vesela Dolyna, Soledar, Berestove, Vesele, Vyimka, Semyhiria, Vershyna and near the Vuhlehirska Power Plant using tanks, as well as tubed and rocket artillery. Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes near New-York, Ivano-Darivka and Semyhiria. Ukrainian soldiers repelled Russian assault operations in the direction of Kodema and Vershyna.
Russian occupying forces did not conduct active combat operations on the Kurakhove, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia fronts, but fired on the areas around Novomykhailivka, Shakhtarske, Velyki Novosilky, Pavlivka, Novoukrainka, Vremivka, Zaliznychne, Olhivske, Temyrivka, Huliaipilske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka and Kamianka. Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes near Avdiivka and Kamianka. In addition, the Russians mounted an offensive in the direction of Kamianka, where they were partially successful.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian occupying forces are concentrating their efforts on preventing the Ukrainian Defence Forces from mounting a counter-offensive. The Russians fired on Ukrainian positions along the entire frontline using tubed and rocket artillery and tanks. Four naval-based Kalibr cruise missile carriers are on standby in the Black Sea.
