Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks near 6 settlements in Donetsk Oblast General Staff report

Over the course of the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Bilohorivka, Zelenopillia, Klishchiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodiane and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

Quote: "Enemy forces are continuing to fire on critical infrastructure facilities and on civilian homes in violation of humanitarian law and the laws and customs of war. Civilian infrastructure facilities in the city of Zaporizhzhia have been hit."

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out 10 airstrikes and 10 missile strikes, as well as 42 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS).

There were no changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. The Republic of Belarus is continuing to aid and support Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

Russian forces continued to fire on military and civilian targets:

  • On the Sivershchyna front: Russian forces deployed mortars and rocket artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Atynske and Novovolodymyrivka (Sumy Oblast);

  • On the Slobozhanshchyna front: Russian forces deployed mortars and tubed artillery to fire on areas in and around Strilecha, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Okhrimivka and Zarubynka (Kharkiv Oblast);

  • On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts: Russian forces deployed tank guns and all types of artillery at their disposal to fire on areas in and around Novomlynsk, Orlianka, Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne and Tabaivka (Kharkiv Oblast); Novoselivske, Miasozharivka, Novoiehorivka, Ploshchanka and Nevske (Luhansk Oblast) and Torske, Andriivka and Berestove (Donetsk Oblast);

  • On the Bakhmut front: the Russians deployed tank guns, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in and around Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Vesele, Zelenopillia, Kurdiumivka, Maiorsk, New-York, Serebrianivka, Soledar, Spirne and Yakovlivka (Donetsk Oblast);

  • On the Avdiivka front: the Russians deployed tank guns and various types of artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast);

  • On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts: the Russians fired on areas in and around Bohoiavlenka, Blahodatne, Vremivka and Vuhledar (Donetsk Oblast) and Kamianske (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) using tank guns and artillery of various calibres;

  • On the Kryvyi Rih front: Russian forces fired on areas in and around Mylove and Chervonyi Maiak (Kherson Oblast) using tank guns and tubed and rocket artillery;

  • On the Kherson front: the Russians deployed tanks and artillery to fire on areas in and around Antonivka, Beryslav, Odradokamianka, Chornobaivka and Kherson (Kherson Oblast).
