Ukrainian ATESH agent sabotages important logistics hub in Volgograd

An ATESH agent carried out a sabotage in Volgograd, Russia, by setting fire to a railway relay cabinet at the Maxim Gorky railway station, stopping the transfer of military equipment, the guerrilla movement reported on Telegram, on Feb. 18.

According to ATESH, this facility is very important for the logistics of the Russian army.

The movement noted that the station is a logistics hub through which Russian military trains go to the temporarily occupied Crimea and Rostov-on-Don.

“Now the occupiers will have problems with this. This is revenge for Avdiivka!” the guerrillas stated.

ATESH added that they do not disclose the date of the sabotage for the agent’s safety.

Earlier, the movement reported that after the Ukrainian military withdrew from Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast, Russian troops struck at their own positions.

In addition, ATESH noted that Russian units from Avdiivka cannot recover due to heavy losses during the capture of the city.

Ukrainian troops have withdrawn from Avdiivka, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said on the night of Feb. 17.

A small number of Ukrainian soldiers were captured during the withdrawal from Avdiivka, the commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Grouping of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi said.
