Ukrainian light heavyweight boxer Oleksandr Gvozdyk shared his predictions on the fight between WBA/WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC title holder Tyson Fury in an interview with Ukrainian sport outlet Sport-express.ua on Feb. 3.

According to Gvozdyk, the boxers have roughly equal chances of success, but he still believes that Usyk will win.

"The one who is better prepared and does his homework better will win,” he said.

“But “both athletes have their trump cards,” he added.

Although Gvozdyk said that he he thinks both boxers have a 50/50 chance to win, and while he does not see any particular advantage on either side, he is still placing bets on Usyk, nothing that he has known Usyk for many years, and knows how well he prepares for his fights.

Usyk's fight with Fury was postponed due to a cut that Tyson received in sparring. The fight will take place on May 18 instead of Feb. 17.
