Ukrainian Defence Forces repel over 60 Russian attacks over past 24 hours – General Staff
The Russian occupying forces have persisted in their offensive actions on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia fronts, with Ukrainian troops repelling over 60 attacks.

Quote: "A total of 68 combat engagements took place over the past 24 hours. The enemy launched 1 missile strike and 45 airstrikes, and bombarded the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas 49 times using multiple-launch rocket systems...
The Russian airstrikes targeted the following areas: Serebrianka Forest (Luhansk Oblast), [the settlements of] Spirne, Klishchiivka, Avdiivka, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast) and Krynky (Kherson Oblast).
Over 130 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts came under artillery fire."
Details: In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group on the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 8 Russian attacks near the settlement of Synkivka in (Kharkiv Oblast).
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 3 Russian attacks around Serebrianka Forest (Luhansk Oblast).
On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian troops repelled 16 Russian attacks near the settlements of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka and Klishchiivka (Donetsk Oblast). The Ukrainian Defence Forces are continuing their assault operations south of the town of Bakhmut (Donetsk Oblast), inflicting losses in military personnel and equipment on the Russian occupying forces, and consolidating their positions.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group on the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian soldiers are holding back the Russians, who persist in their attempts to surround Avdiivka. The Ukrainian defenders are holding their ground, inflicting significant losses on the Russian army. The Ukrainian troops successfully repelled 21 Russian attacks in the areas east of the settlements of Novokalynove and Novobakhmutivka, as well as near Stepove, Avdiivka, Sieverne and Pervomaiske (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Marinka front, Ukrainian Defence Forces are continuing to hold back the Russians near the settlements of Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 8 attacks.
On the Shakhtarsk front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled a Russian attack near the settlement of Staromaiorske (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Ukrainian army repelled 3 Russian attacks, attempting to regain lost ground in the area south of the village of Robotyne. The Ukrainian troops also repelled 3 Russian attacks near the settlements of Novopokrovka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).
On the Melitopol front, Ukraine's Defence Forces are taking active steps to inflict losses in military personnel and equipment on the Russian occupying forces, exhausting them along the entire contact line.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational Strategic Group on the Kherson front, the Ukrainian troops are continuing to maintain their positions on the left bank of Dnipro, conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire damage on the Russian rear.
In the area of responsibility of the Pivnich (North) Operational Strategic Group on the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation remains without significant changes.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, Russian forces are maintaining their military presence in the border areas, undertaking sabotage activities to prevent Ukrainian troops from being deployed to vulnerable areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in Russia's Belgorod Oblast.
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force delivered 8 strikes on clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, 2 on anti-aircraft missile systems and 2 on ammunition storage points belonging to the Russians.
Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery units struck a Russian heavy flamethrower multiple rocket launcher system and a Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun system.
