Ukrainian military enters outskirts of Lysychansk in Luhansk Oblast, says governor

“Lysychansk... a wonderful Ukrainian town)) Oh, how much work will be done to restore it…,” he said.
In another post, Hayday mentioned the temporarily occupied towns of Svatove and Kreminna in Luhansk Oblast.
“Svatove and Kreminna – how are you doing? I just asked…)),” the governor said.

After months of heavy fighting for Lysychansk, Ukraine’s Defense Forces were forced to withdraw from their positions and defense lines in early July.
The General Staff then explained that, given the multiple superiority of the Russian invaders in artillery, aviation, multiple launch rocket systems, ammunition, and the number of military personnel, further defense of the town would have led to fatal consequences.
At the same time, the military then said: “We will definitely come back.”
