"A mangled city, devastation, heavy fighting, the ground is littered with enemy bodies, hours (tick by like) days," the video caption reads.

“This is the present day of the city of Bakhmut.”

The footage shows destroyed housing, as well as many dead Russian troops and destroyed enemy equipment.

The military emphasized that the 93rd Brigade remains in Bakhmut and continues to destroy the enemy.

The Battle Bakhmut has been ongoing since July 2022.

The Russian army and Wagner mercenaries continue to unsuccessfully try to surround and capture Bakhmut, reported the Ukrainian military’s General Staff.

During a meeting of the High Command on March 14, there was a unanimous decision to continue of the defense of Bakhmut.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi has said that the defense of Bakhmut is key to the stability of the entire front.

In recent days, media reported that Russian troops have slowed down their offensive on Bakhmut, shifting their focus to the Avdiyivka area.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces clarified that Ukrainian defenders have managed to stabilize the situation in Bakhmut, and that while fighting continues, it is seen to be less intense.
